Join Muscarelle Museum Director David Brashear HON '07 on Friday, May 29 for a reimagined day of American art. You’ll first enjoy rare early access the the Smithsonian American Art Museum for the Grandma Moses: A Good Day's Work, a major exhibition reconsidering Anna Mary Robertson "Grandma" Moses as a key figure in American art. The morning begins with coffee in the McEvoy Lobby alongside Jane Carpenter-Rock '92, acting director of SAAM, followed by a private overview with curator Leslie Umberger and dedicated gallery exploration time, with docents and the curator available for conversation. We'll then break for lunch in the stunning glass canopied Kogod Courtyard, where each guest will receive a $25 credit at the Courtyard Café. The day will continue to the Kreeger, renowned for its impressive collection from Impressionism to modern American art. Experience American art past and present, guided by expert commentary and engaging discussion throughout the day.

- For those departing from the host hotel, meet in the InterContinental Washington, D.C. - The Wharf lobby at 8 a.m. Shuttles will depart at 8:30 a.m.

- Shuttle will depart from SAAM at the G Street entrance at 1 p.m.
