Enjoy a taste of favorites from Tartine’s Bakery, named one of “25 Bakeries Around the World You Have To See Before You Die,” at the home of Jeff Parker ’80. While there, Val Cushman, W&M’s senior director for alumni engagement and inclusion initiatives, will give a sampling of the LGBTQIA+ initiatives at W&M. Then, step out to savor the vibrant Castro District on a 90-minute walking tour showcasing the people and places of the past, present and future of this LGBTQIA+ rights movement epicenter.
